Stopped by a cute little town called Yountville.
Bouchon Bakery at Yountville, CA
Macaroons. Cute lil thangs tasted divine.
For lunch I went to Farmstead in Saint Helena, CA.
So… I’m no longer vegetarian. I was only vegetarian for a few years (on and off) to keep my weight somewhat manageable–and to be a bit healthier. On a daily basis, I keep a vegetarian or sometimes vegan diet, but I don’t hold myself as a true vegetarian 100% of the time because I like to experience different types of food. Being up North, where it’s all about good quality and expertly prepared meats, it’s hard to stay vegetarian. But just because I am no longer a vegetarian does not mean that every meal I eat contains meat. I try to practice moderation in everything. End Rant.
These are the ribs that I devoured this afternoon.
Cheddar Biscuits. I have a feeling that I will start craving these…
Beautiful scenery & good quality food is a recipe for a happy soul.
Who likes gelato? Me! Went to Sogni Di Dolci to satisfy my sweet craving.
Indulged in this dark chocolate raspberry gelato. The sweet tart of the raspberry sorbet perfectly complimented the richness of the creamy dark chocolate.
They have this cool little “back room” where you can hangout & watch sports. I was obviously watching sports…
I can’t help but feel like a diva eating my gelato with my feet up on the coffee table.
